OMNITEK ENGINEERING RECEIVES ORDER FOR 600KW NATURAL GAS - Rapid Adoption of Natural Gas in Mexico Bodes Well for Omnitek - VISTA, CA — February 26, 2015— Omnitek Engineering Corp. (OTCQB: OMTK) today announced it has received an order for a 12-cylinder, 600 kilowatt natural gas power generator to operate the NatGas Bernardo Quintana CNG fueling station in Queretaro, Mexico, with a capacity to serve an anticipated 200 CNG buses and 1,000 taxi vehicles per day. Cost benefits and the assurance of an uninterrupted source of electric power for fueling vehicles were cited as two primary factors in the decision to install Omnitek’s natural gas generator. Terms were not disclosed. “The utilization of Omnitek’s technology for powering CNG fueling requirements at this facility further expands the application of our natural gas technology and complements our primary focus on engine conversions for fleet vehicles --including buses and heavy-duty trucks. We applaud Josué Hernandez, the chief executive officer of NatGas and the developer of an emerging network of CNG fueling stations, for selecting Omnitek’s technology and having the foresight to avoid the potential impact of electrical power outages through the utilization of natural gas,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corp. “This is our largest station to date, with room for expansion, and we look forward to the inauguration of our third CNG station later this year in Queretaro at the Celaya toll road, as well as the opening of the first public CNG station in the city of San Louis Potosi in mid-2015. We look forward to additional opportunities to provide CNG to meet the growing demand for this fuel in Mexico,” Hernandez said. The application of Omnitek’s natural gas engine technology for this, and other potential, CNG station follows the company’s recently announced application of its technology for a micro-grid project in the Northeast, a biogas fuel genset in northern California and two natural gas locomotive engines powering a Czech Railways train in a pilot program being conducted between the Czech cities of Opava and Hlučín.
